A handbuilt piece resembling a highly organic tree or coral-like shape. The exterior of the piece is refined, while the interior is intentionally left unfinished, allowing for dynamic shadows and reflections that are remnants of the piece’s handbuilding process to be cast through the piece as it is illuminated. Textured similarly to other pieces in the series, with several hundred individually placed dimples.

This handbuild piece was sculpted with stoneware clay and has an abstract form similar to coral or a heart. It is full of tubes and impasses that pass light through convoluted channels. Each dimple in the texture was manually placed, with nearly 1,000 individual impacts. The bright blue color stands out in any setting.

This tall egg like sculpture was handbuilt from a temmoku clay body. Its form was inspired by an egg and Easter Island Head. It is a lamp centered around the idea of indirect lighting, as the light source is hidden from nearly all viewports. The soft reflected lighting highlights the rich tones of the clay and tool markings on the interior. This piece features nearly 1,500 individual hand placed dimples. The piece includes an LED lighting system on the interior walls.

This spherical shape took the Sculptural Lighting series in a new direction by adding light in all directions. Unlike the rest of the series, it does not intentionally hide the light source. Rather, it shows the light source while still relying on reflected lighting to create it’s warm ambiance.
